Kuberlearn is the new learning platform that contains 'App Development' based courses in Tamil. The courses are conducted by the well-trained instructors. This platform is also built to Offer internship opportunities for students.
I led the design, user testing and logo of this project from end to end for both mobile and desktop. I collaborated with a developer during the early ideation stage.
Over 50% of the students are interested in learning "App development" as it is one of the trending profession today. But the students find it difficult to understand and cope up with the language.
They feel helpless when stuck up with doubts, while language is the barrier to raise their questions.
Not getting proper Internship opportunities to start their carrier as Developers.
To create a learning platform that bridges the gap bewteen tamil students and coding knowledge.
Mentors should guide the students and solve their doubts in Tamil or English based on the student.
Students should get Internship opportunities to start their carrier as Developers.
The platform must be user friendly with decent Interface.
I decided to build the color pallette first and the client agreed to use the below pallette for Kuberlearn platform.
I made a logo for Kuberlearn according to client's requirement using the color pallette. Got inspirational shape on google and decided to go with pentagon.
I started sketching some crazy ideas on my mind. And ofcourse implemented some inspired concepts in our design. I asked my client to review the Sketches and provide their comments.
This is how the early wireframes looked like. Wireframes are adjusted according to the comments received in Sketches review. I made my client to review the wireframes as well with prototypes.
Done User-testing with my friends and family who has experience in purchasing the courses from several learning platforms.
Can you describe what this app is all about?
Is the app user-friendly?
How is the Interface looks like?
Any suggestions to change anything?
We then turn these early ideas into high fidelity designs. We experimented with different colors, shapes, layouts. But it felt all over the place, so we continued to refine these designs. Here's the outcome after several iterations as discussed with client and test-users.
